Lakeside accommodation filling up for Cullulleraine music festival

The foreshore of beautiful freshwater Lake Cullulleraine will set the scene for a magical weekend of music, fun, food and sun during the 2018 Cullulleraine Music Festival next month.

Both Lake Cullulleraine and Bushman’s Rest holidays parks will be bursting at the seams, prompting organisers to urge festival-goers to organise their accommodation soon.
Held from April 13 to 15, a lineup of diverse and renowned musicians is the main highlight. But, an action-packed program making the most of the popular lake setting will also feature food, stalls, and workshops.
This year is the fourth festival and it’s the only one of its kind in the Millewa district, near Mildura.
Some of Australia’s best-loved performers will be there along with some exciting emerging artists with music covering folk, roots, bluegrass, blues and brass-infused beats.
In anticipation of the Festival going from strength to strength, the event will be held this year at Johansen Reserve, adjacent to the Lake Cullulleraine Holiday Park.
Festival spokesperson Ross Elliott said the nearby Bushman’s Rest Caravan Park would also be rolling out the red carpet for patrons.
“There will be a free courtesy bus going between the two caravan parks. Both venues have campsites, caravan accommodation and great facilities so patrons will be well taken care of,” Mr Elliott said.

“There aren’t many music festivals like the Cullulleraine Music Festival where people can really immerse themselves in the music by getting involved with the artists during jamming sessions and workshops,” Mr Elliott said.
“This is a huge community effort and we’re really proud to be bringing this diversity of talent to the region for music lovers of all ages,” he said.
