Environmental watering at the Hattah Lakes, in north west Victoria, was a game-changer for consultation with Aboriginal people in the Mallee region.
The Hattah Lakes environmental watering program was one of the biggest ever undertaken in Australia and was carried out in one of the Victoria's most culturally-rich environments.
Five years on, Elders and community-members returned to some of the sites to look at the environmental transformation, and what they had helped to achieve.
